Submitting Photos
Help tell the story of Vintage Grand Rapids with your Photos
- Submit vintage photos from your family photo albums and they may be used in Vintage Grand Rapids-Volume II with your name as contributor.
Instructions:
- Every photo taken prior to 1970 will be considered.
- Please attempt to identify the date and setting of the photo and any people or organizations pictured.
- Please write identifying information on a sheet of paper, not on the back of the photo.
- A completed photo release form must accompany all photos (click to download form)
- Photos will be well cared for and returned to you in November.

Jennifer Morrison
Family History Writer
Jennifer Morrison has her Bachelor of Arts in public history from Western Michigan University and her Master of Arts in public history from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She has over twenty five years experience working in historical organizations throughout Michigan and has been at the Grand Rapids Public Library in their Grand Rapids History & Special Collections for eleven years. Morrison and her husband, John, own MI-Stories.com, a service that helps people preserve their life stories in audio or print. She is on the board of the Greater Grand Rapids Women's History Council and is vice president of the Grand Rapids Historical Society. Morrison and City Historian Emeritus, Gordon Olson, are the authors of Caring Community, a centennial history of Clark Retirement Community.
Rebecca Maynefrom the Grand Rapids Public Library
Rebecca Mayne has been Archivist at the Grand Rapids History & Special Collections at the Grand Rapids Public Library since June 1998. She has worked in libraries, local museums and archives since the 1970’s, often in positions specializing in art and design related topics, and including positions in Indiana, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Preservation Education Committee of the Society of American Archivists, Preservation Section.
